What Changes

The local details:

• Currency. Invoices, estimates and statements show your customers' own currency.
• Sales tax. Whatever the tax is called where you work, you set it up the way it applies to your services, and it shows on invoices.
• Addresses. Provinces, states, counties, postcodes and postal codes. Imported addresses are placed on the map automatically.
• Door sizes. Save sizes in whatever form your techs use. The size field is yours to fill.

Texting Outside the US

The monthly text allowance on each plan, 500, 1,000 or 2,000 texts sent and received on Start, Pro and Crew, covers the US and Canada. Canadian garage door companies can text customers the same way US companies do: two-way texting from the office, plus automatic night-before, on-the-way and arrived alerts.

Your service list is in your own currency. A Canadian company might list a service call, a torsion spring replacement and a yearly tune-up in Canadian dollars. A UK company would price the same services in pounds. Estimates and invoices use those prices.
